This is what a Stanley dream should be. I always dreamt of one and here it is. Mint in the original box with original paper wrapping and hanging tag, box is not damaged. Never been used and not for sale, this one is mine, mine, mine, next week will photo the 602 in the box that just came in will be for sale.

Stanley #1 Bench Plane in original box, One of the most collectible tools ever made. The sweetheart example is as close to mint as any we have ever seen. Absolutely no wear anywhere. 100% original japanning. Even the original lacquer on the rosewood is 100%. The sweetheart iron still has its original factory grind. The box is a rare early script logo label. The box is complete with only internal repairs. The screws look like they have never seen a screwdriver. The brass has its original factory glow and is still covered with the original factory logo. I now have a pair of #1 Stanley planes in the original boxes, they are not for sale. Here is the start of what is left of my massive tool collection. Some of these will be for sale soon.
