Stanley Planes RARE

   #1701 These are now in   Scale model Stanley Rule & Level Co. Toy Stake Truck.  These were made for one year in the 1990s.  These are hared to find, especially in the box, and they aren't making any more of them. Very Sturdy mostly steel construction, approx 4" long by 2 1/2" high.  This is very nice example of this  highly collectible toy .  A$ 95

Well --this is it! Measures 12 x 18 feet. Printed on heavy gauge vinyl. Don't think it'll be any time soon before Stanley rolls out the red carpet for collectors again, sighs... STANLEY No. 2 Smooth Plane Type 11 Mint In Its Original Box. These early types never turn up in the original box. The plane has been used, but only once and put away, protected by its box forever. The rosewood, japanning and nickel are all flawless. The V logo iron ca. 1910 is crisp and full length. The nickel on the lever cap has achieved a smooth, even, smoky gray patina. The box is in pretty good shape with only 1 corner repair. Early script logo Bailey boxes are few and far between.  A$ 1595

     #5307  Stanley No.72 chamfer plane is in pretty good shape with all correct parts. The beautiful rosewood handle and knob are in fine shape with very minor scrapes and scuffs, but no chips or splits. Machined surfaces are fine and smooth with just darkening from age, but no rust or pitting. The lever cap and brass spoked wheel are perfect. The original blade has plenty of length and is marked with the 1885 patent date. Japanning on the body has mostly worn away and there's a small hole in front of the rear handle that was used to attach a stop block. A$ 795

      #7722  Stanley #130 Double End Block Plane, in original box USA,This double-ender (block and bullnose) also appears to have received little if any use.  It has at least 97% japanning.  The blade is full length.  Please note that this is a V-logo, dating it to the 1910-19 era.  Not common to find Stanley planes from that era still in the box and in this condition.  The box itself has a full label but with a white spot.  These older boxes frequently had an additional label on top, as this one does.  It is full and in good shape.  The remainder of the box is solid with the corners a bit frayed, some signs of tape residue, and a couple of tool bumps spots.  A$ 255

      #6759 Stanley #289 Type 1 Rebate plane.  The plane is repainted and the signature side has some pitting, particularly under the depth stop.   Both original nickers and screws are present and more importantly, the correct fence and fence arm.  Usually these 289's are found with a "78" fence, or no fence at all.  Not shown but it does have the depth stop and its shouldered thumb screw.  The early SR&L blade has some cleaned up corrosion but at least 1/2in of useable steel remaining.  A$ 895
